What are The Future Sound Awards?

AI is having a transformative impact on the music sector - and The Future Sound Awards has been launched to demonstrate the positive impact AI can have in enhancing the creative process in music creation. Like all awards, it's an opportunity to celebrate creative talent and raise standards of creators using AI to make music.

Who can enter?

The Future Sound Awards is open to anyone over the age of 18, whether you’ve created AI music before or this is your first rodeo.

What is the process to enter?

Follow the link to enter from the Future Sound Awards website, create your track in TwoShot Studio and follow the steps to “enter the Future Sound Awards”. When submitting, your track will automatically upload to the Future Sound Awards Chart, powered by SoundCloud.

Does my track need to be a specific type of music?

You can enter any genre of your choice, whether that be rap and hip hop, to EDM and country.

What are the dates to enter?

Entries open from 1st of July 08:00 BST and close on the 22nd of July.

Are there any restrictions on AI music platforms that can be used to generate the entry?

To enter into the Future Sound Awards your track must have been created and verified through TwoShot Studio. Your track needs to be original, copyrighted material is strictly forbidden.

Can I submit multiple entries to the competition?

Yes, there’s no limit on how many entries you can submit to the awards.

Is there a registration fee?

There is no registration fee to enter.

How will the competition be judged / what is the criteria?

The competition will be judged by an expert panel made of Jeff Nang, international AI Music Producer, Butterbro, the German sensation who hit the headlines for producing the first AI generated song to enter the German music charts, Tobi Akinyemi, AI Music Producer and Founder of TwoShot, and Narcis Marincat, Head of AI at Fanvue and AI Music Aficionado. Entries will be judged across a set criteria including vocals, lyrics, beat and authenticity. Scores will be combined with the total number of listens the track achieves on the Future Sound Awards chart, powered by SoundCloud.

Is there a prize?

The prize for the winning track is $7,000 USD. 2nd and 3rd place winners will each receive $1,500.
